Realized a little late that the A pillar interior fabric should have been put on before the windshield.

Being that the car went to the body shop with windshield and these interior pieces on, I had no record of the fact they really should go on before the windshield.  Ugh.  The old pieces wrap around the windshield opening edge and the rubber gasket goes on over them.  Well had to make do.

After cutting to size, I pushed extra edge on the new ones I made up under the gasket.  Luckily, very tight fit, so figuring they will stay put.

Eventually the side the clips hold on, are done with a piece of molding.  That goes on near the end though.  Using the clips now just for sizing.
