Got the dash pad in, but very quickly figured out the carpeting was going to be a real picnic….

Said goodbye to all the moving mats I’ve had in there for last few months.

Then vacuum the whole floor and install all the original matting.  Its in great shape, and doesn’t smell at all.

Then thinking the new carpet would drop right in, put the Y heating duct in.

Then dragged out the new carpet.  One attempt at fitting….  and I promptly went to work undoing host of things I already installed.  Y duct came out.  The heater controls came out.  And the big main heating box I had put in near the beginning came out.  All to make room for this monster.

Oh, sure its “molded” to fit, just needs about EIGHT inches taken off all around in order to fit!!

This is going to take awhile.
