6/4/11 - Wheels DONE!

As mentioned before, metal refinisher I am NOT!. I find this work tedious. Man so happy these are DONE. Not perfect by any means, but good enough. I am finally freed up to move on to other things. In the future, farm this out to others.
These are two photos of the sanding in progress. All of the surfaces were hand sanded with 400, then 600 grit. This gets rid of the oxidation, but plenty other dings and divits are all left behind.

If I were to recommend anything, its that doing the 400 - 600 grit first is likely the way to go. Then go back with heavier grit(220?) or whatever to get the dings and divets out. Of course, the dimple will likely show.
