You know how they always say to never throw anything away?…
That goes double in car restorations. Above is the flex rubber brake line that connects frame hard line to axle hard line. I went to put the rear brake lines in, and for the life of me could not find the junction hardware piece that connects the two axle hard lines to the flex line. Lo and behold it was still attached to the severed old flex line I had cut off. Thank supreme being of your choice that I didn’t just toss that in the garbage by mistake when I got it off…. So right in the middle of putting on the brake lines I had to stop. Took it off the flex line, wired wheeled it, and put on two coats of clear….

Here it is on the axle, with the two axle hard lines attached.

Axle with all the brake lines in place. Each line clamp dipped in plastic coat for rust protection, and all hardware and brake line connections clear coated after assembly.
