
So according to my assembly sheet, the last thing I took off before the car left for the shop were the rear windows, so they are next.
Sure is sweet, to pull window out of the pile in the basement, its all clean and ready to bolt in.
To assemble your car restoration project you just work the disassembly notes you took backwards to assemble. What! You didn’t write down disassembly notes? Oh well, good luck.
Put on the new rubber weather strip.

Tape up the window opening. Yes I even have notes on removing the entire window assembly, step by step. Otherwise you are toast. Its amazing how foreign this looks to me now, I really have no idea what to do. Notes say this came out last, so it goes in first.

And I even managed to slide that whole contraption in, without chipping any paint!!

Now don’t think for a minute that it’s all done. Its just sitting in there, there is a whole bag of hardware and other rails and crank assembly to get in there and bolt all together. But enough for tonight. Tired car restoration is generally not a good idea.
