7/15/11 - Glass install
Do not attempt to put in a windshield, if you haven’t been a helper on 25 of them already.
I helped on one, and thought I could do it myself. Luckily I figured out early on that I was out of my element and was able to pull in experienced help in a matter of an hour. There are many tricks to doing this right, and it is one of those jobs that takes finesse and a “feel” for it. Not simply bolting A to B. I’m pretty impatient with finesse type jobs, so luckily I was able to get Scott from RMR Restorations to help me out. Took us two and a half hours to get both pieces of glass in.
