Funny. I just got quoted today from safelite. $100 to do front and back if I bring in my own seals… which I have already of course. It’s still a long way off but I’d rather pay someone else to do it than try that gross mess myself. You are a brave man!

Reply:  Be careful here, I had a glass place put in the glass on my ‘66 Mustang, and they thought they could simply put the rubber on the glass and put it in.  No sealer of any kind.  Of course, installed that way, it leaks like a screen.  Bring two tubes of 3M 8509, and be sure they use that.  They will want to use urethane, which hardens up.  With the amount of give and take with a rubber seal, urethane will crack and leak.
