One step forward, two steps back. When Scott helped with windshield install, he attempted to adjust the driver’s door for me. Guess what, lower door hinge is toast.
Just another one of those things. I did ask when the car was over at RMR about the hinges, in fact I bought new bushings ahead of time figuring they would need some help. I was assured they were fine, well wrong O!
So I pulled the door off.

And pulled hinges off the door.

Didn’t take any photos, but you have to grind the end off one of the pins on one hinge, the other you can drive out. Needed lots of heat though for both of them. Then sandblasted them.

Prepped the door jamb for repaint. No one had apparently ever even taken the hinges off. Not too surprising really.

Did a coat of POR15 on the bare metal areas. Then once it dried to tacky, put a coat of primer on top. Ready for yellow top coat.

Also primed the hinges themselves. Waiting for some hardener on order to do final coat. Also still need to reassemble the hinges, wait for 24 hour dry on the primer before I handled everything big time to reassemble.
